Busy Off-Season Planned for KLM Motorsports
With the 2013 season officially behind us, the team is focused on the future. Currently, work is ongoing to get the race shop back in order after a hectic season. The guys are also toiling away on stripping the cars in prep for decision-making for equipment, etc. for the 2014 season.
We still have a few "Acts of Kindness" to complete to get to 64 before the end of the year. We will also make the time for some fun with our annual team Christmas Party!
In February, the Team will once again by participating in the Special Olympics CT Penguin Plunge in New London. We'll be reaching out for your support in the coming days!
Stay tuned into the website and Facebook and Twitter for off-season updates.
2013 Season Ends with 13th Place Finish
The 2013 season ended with a mediocre finish in the Thompson Speedway World Series on October 20-much like our entire season. While we experienced some high points during the year, we were a mid-pack car for the majority of the season. Despite our less than expected results, the team never faltered; giving 100% each-and-every week. Ron Yuhas, Jr. finished 12th in the final Whelen Modified Tour points standings.
